Amazon's largest display, 15.6 inches, is about the size of a large digital photo frame that you sometimes see in stores. It's about the size of a notebook PC, but it's still quite large for a smart display. The terminal size is 40 cm x 25 cm. It has a great presence no matter where you install it in your house. I use this at home, so it's a little redesigned. You can install it on the wall vertically or horizontally, but the mount does not rotate, so you need to decide whether it is vertical or horizontal first. The best installation position is at eye level. The length of the cable is 1.5m, so it's preferable to have a power supply nearby (although you can use an extension cord). The installation difficulty is almost the same level as the photo frame, and it is easy to have a level and a drill. Unfortunately, my rented room didn't have a hole in the wall, so I used a dedicated stand during the review. The software settings are easy, just like any other Amazon smart display. Turn on the power, connect to Wifi, log in to your Amazon account, right? There is also a Visual ID setting that recognizes the family, but this will be discussed later. After that, set whether to use the 5MP camera installed in the Echo Show as a security camera or connect to Sidewalk on the Amazon network (there is an option not to use either). When installed horizontally, there are three physical buttons on the top of the terminal. Mute and volume + ─. Next to it is a shutter that physically blocks the camera. 1.6-inch speakers are built into both sides of the terminal, which is sufficient for video calls and room BGM.
